Have already order touch pad, but am wondering if I need a fan. When oven heats to a certain degree fan comes on and is making a really different noise. When I turn the fan on and sounds fine. Please help!

The "automatic" fan is locarted on the upper back of the range, it comes on when the control panel area reaches a certain temperature, to cool down the control panel and components. The down draft fan ( the one you can turn off and on) is a completely different system and is located under the range. It may be as simple as something falling down between the range and the counter top, or someone moved the range and the fan or back panel, is out of position. :) :) :)
