I received the heating coil Bosch part # AP3160604 (that I purchased form you) and was about to install it into the Thermador counter top unit when I noticed that coil had opposite color leads (prongs). If you are looking at the coil from the top: the old unit has the red color lead prong on the right and the white color lead prong on the left; whereas the new unit purchased (from you) has the red color lead prong on the left and the white color lead prong on the right - just the opposite from the old unit.

So my question is how do I install the wire leads to the coil unit prongs - same way as it was before without regartd to the coils lead coloration; or should I attached the red color wire to the red prong and the blue color wire to the white prong? Of course the ground goes onto the triangular plate holding the two prongs with the hole in the center.

I just didn't want to install the new coil and cause some problem if the reversed leads (prongs) means anything - it is a very expensive coil and I don't want to blow it.

Thanks for your input,
Bandi
