I replaced my oven ignitor and now I am having propane leaking issues. I removed the burner from the safety valve and am wondering if that could have caused a problem. The safety valve is leaking propane when all of my knobs are turned to off. My question is what and how does this safety valve work? I currently have the propane from the regulator turned off to the oven. One person I called and said that the valve is probably stuck open because of how dirty propane gas is? Sound legit? Theres only so many meals you can cook on the stove lol. Thanks guys.
