Default Oven Temperature Runaway
Model Number: 66575832002   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 5 - 10 years

Error Codes: E2 F3, Oven maintains 350 degrees for a short time, with the gas cycling on/off around 350 degrees (independent thermometer in oven). The "heat" indicator on the stove panel lights, then the gas ignites. The "heat" indicator goes out and a few seconds later the gas shuts off. I hear clicking sounds at the expected times. 350 degrees maintained. Normal operation. After a while of this normal cycling, the gas never shuts off and the oven temp climbs. The "heat" indicator is not lit. The cancel button turns off the "bake" light but the gas never shuts off.

I replaced the oven sensor. Did not solve the problem. What do I do next?
Kenmore model 665.75832002 Range. 7 years old.

Jim

Most people here are reluctant to diagnose this dangerous problem, best to get a pro to look at it.
