oven won't come on. display says 5Ab

The 5ab "code", and the oven being inoperable is normal. The control is in the "Sabboth" mode. It may have been accidentally programmed or you may have had a power failure. In most cases, you can press and hold the "clock" keypad button for 3 to 5 seconds and the display will reset to the time of day mode, and you'll be OK.
