Hi all,

My folks oven seems to have gone south on them. My mother states that when she went to start the self cleaning the screen displayed "Lock" flashing, but the door never locked. When I got there I saw she was right, but now the over blinks "Lock", but you can't clear this. So, you cannot bake or broil because the screen flashes "Door". We tried power cycling the oven, and even left it off for a couple hours, but no go. It still won't run the clean or bake/broil. You can set the hour for the clean, but it never really pulls the door totally shut. To me it seems as if the mechanism for the lock has gone bad. Any ideas, or drawings for me to troubleshoot this.

In the meantime, anyone know how I can clear this state, so she can use the oven until I can fix it for them?
