Default Oven not heating correctly
Model Number: FGF354BGwe   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 5 - 10 years

My wife was trying to use oven when the code F1 appeared. We shut the oven off and unplugged it and it, reset itself. Everything was fine I thought. Here are the symptons. I turn the thermostat to lets say 350 degrees. Push the start button. The ovens heats up for a few minutes to what I believe is the preheated tempeture of 350 degrees. Then the eoc starts to beep. And the pre heat button starts flashing. And I could hear a poofing sound. Like the sound a propane grill makes when you turn off the burners. I heard that a few times like it was turning on and off. At that point my cheese bread was finished. Oh and all the burners up top seemed to be working properly. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Thanks Joe

Just tested the unit again. Everything seems to be working, no more beeping, or light flashing. But after it reaches desired temp, the gas shuts off and when it comes back on to heat again (thru the oven door) it appears to be lite, then about ten seconds later I can still hear the poofing noise. Never noticed it before I started having problems .Is this normal?
