I purchased a used cook top that was set up for natural gas, I converted it to LP, I got the (parts from Sears parts dept). The cook top works good but we get a yellow tipped flame on all the settings except setting 1 and 2, the yellow flame gets bigger when we turn the heat up. Is this normal? Is there some adjustment that I don’t know about? Thank you for info you might have. Gregg

If you go to sears parts.com, and put your model # in, and go to the burner section # 6 is the air tube where you have to adjust the mixture of air. When you convert the gas, the air mixture is different. The picture is not that great, but if the whole burner comes out the adjustment is on the tube. You just have to play with it to get it right.
