My oven is not working. Everytime I try to turn it on a beeping sound occurs and the Code F31 flashes across the screen.
I looked uo the error codes and it stated that F3 is a shorted temprature sensor but what about F31?
How do I go about getting this repaired?
Is it simple enough for me to do?
:)

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for TAP TEF326FSA | AppliancePartsPros.com

Temp sensor is Item 37 in the "Body" section, Item F37 near the bottom of the parts listing.

Here is a good link

Looks like you should be able to just undo the screw and pull it into the oven, then undo the connector. Put a clip or something on the wires so they do not fall back behind the oven. Then check the temperature probe/sensor with a meter.

Make sure the unit is unplugged when doing this.

I looked uo the error codes and it stated that F3 is a shorted temprature sensor but what about F31?

No idea what the 1 is. Perhaps someone else who does know will jump in. Getting tech info on Tappan is difficult.

How do I go about getting this repaired?

See above

Is it simple enough for me to do?
I do not know you so I cannot say. It is not difficult to at the minimum check the probe. If the probe is OK then it could be a shorted wire or the control board.
