Model Number: RC8700EC Brand: Whirlpool Age: Less than 1 year
I have recently purchased a replacement part for Whirlpool Ceramic cooktop. The part number is 8185638 (for model number RC8700ECB). The part looks identical to the original part except for the number of connectors. The new part has 4 connector tabs, while the original had two connectors. So I would like to confirm which tabs do I connect the wires to now? Just FYI, the original part did not have the bottow two connectors tabs on the square box.
