Default Thermador Dual Fuel Display Reads "OFF"
Model Number: PRD304EG   Brand: Thermador   Age: 5 - 10 years

This range has always worked beautifully, but today, the electronic display on the front reads "OFF" when I push most buttons, including "Convect," "Bake," "Timer," etc. The gas burners work fine. I've called Thermador and the place where I bought it, and they seem to know nothing about this. However, in doing online searches, I see that other people have described this problem also, although I can't see they've ever gotten any answers in the forums where they posted. The display got a good cleaning today; could it be that some weird combination of buttons got pushed and locked it somehow? This is a bad problem in that I can't use my oven. I appreciate any help and advice. Thank you!

Default My oven now works...
Oddly enough, I just decided to stand in front of the oven pushing random combinations of buttons, and I don't know what I did, but the display suddenly started working again. I think some sequence of buttons got pushed during the cleaning and locked the display. Thanks!
