Exclamation After Cleaning Cycle - Oven does not work
Model Number: KEBS107DBS6   Brand: Kitchen Aid   Age: 5 - 10 years

Kitchen Aid oven stopped working after the cleaning cycle completed.

The oven and the cooktop are separate.

I am not sure if I replace a control panel or some type of computer chip.

Any help is appreciated.

Remove the oven from the cabinet and check the thermal fuse on the back of the oven for continuity (#37 on the oven parts break down diagram). Replace if it's open.

- The part number for the thermal fuse AP3030381

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid oven Model KEBS107DBS6

Hi Gene,

How do I know if it is "open"?

"Open" circuit means an infinite resistance.

You have to have a simple meter to measure resistance.

Smile Thanks Gene

I just wanted to log back in and thank Gene for his advice.

I took your advice, changed the part (<$50.00) and the oven started working right away!!

My wife and three girls on a tight budget THANK YOU!!!
