Model Number: 790.96129409 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
One of the four elements on our Kenmore range is not working and it is the one that has a two-stage element (1200W/1300W). We were told by a Sears technician that we have to replace the whole unit at around 250.00 dollars (105 for part and 142 labor). I found that if I bought the part from Sears myself, it was only 77.00 dollars (Yep, the price of the part is different). The question is, do I just pop the top up and replace the element? Is there any tricky electircal issues that needs to be taken care by a professional?
I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Pianimal Ads By Google Related Models |
