I have got a Whirlpool Gold Range, Model Number GS563LXSS0. The glass on the oven side of the door has cracked. It looks like this part number is 8053948 (Number 6 in the diagram below).

I have never done a repair like this, but it seems pretty easy. The oven door pops off, I have it on a scratch free working surface. Should I order the replacement part and just start taking apart screws until I get the broken panel to lift out? Is there anything more involved? Do I need any special types of sealant or tape?
