Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

I have my door off to clean. I took it all apart but I am having problems with two metal pieces. One screws into the top of another and I think goes in either of the lower corners inbetween the glass in the hindge area. I can't find a good enough picture to tell how or where it fits in.

I can't use the oven without the door.

Thank you for your hot tip. I have looked at that diagram till I am blue in the face. I have several copies of it. I think it might be piece #26. I have had a whole day away from it. I will try again. Thanks

Not sure but I think 26 is the magnetic latch for the drawer.

There is hope for me, my computer and my well taken care of kitchen Aid.
Thank you so much for all the information. I am speech less. I spent another hour wondering why, why did I have to go the extra mile to strip down the whole door just so I could see what I was cooking. I will pick it up again tomorrow, day six.

I was concentrating on the wrong end of the hinge. I think the parts are the retainer brackets. Thanks

Just wanted you to know I stayed up late last night and I got the door together. It is so nice to be able to see through the glass. Thanks again
