The right front surface burner doesn't light consistently. Sometimes it will light quickly, but other times it won't light at all. The spark at the problem burner appears to be equal to the other 3 burners which light immediately. Before laying out $60-70 for an igniter and find that doesn't fix the problem, I'd like to know what else could be the cause of inconsistent ignition of that one burner.

Rporst, Before you replace anything, check and remove the burner head and cap. Check and make sure there is no debris stuck in the burner openings, and moisture or chips on the burner cap. Make sure the area around the burner base and igniter is clean and free of any debris, including the ignitor(be very careful not to damage it if it needs to be cleaned). While you're checking and working in the area look inside the burner base and make sure theres no debris in the orifice or arae. Thanks, :) :) :)
