My gas range works, but the oven is locked with the door open. The key pad is not responding, and the oven lock light is blinking. When I turn the thermostat I get the code dr. I guess my question is if I replace the EOC will the oven unlock? And I also read I will have to replace the overlay as well.

I would appreciate any suggestions

Sorry everbody didn't mean to post the same thing twice. After posting I found someone with a simalar problem. Gene had the solution witch was hold the light switch in and turn dial to clean position. And sure enough it released the lock. Oven is working fine now.
