The first thing I would check is the door latch and the door latch switches according to the wiring diagram. You can find more specific information in the service manual. - Here are the break down diagrams for the Jenn Air range Model S136Gene.

Hi,
I know I'm dragging up an old one.
I've got a Whirlpool WGP83801.
Mine is doing the same thing. The oven works fine in every respect except when I put it on self clean mode. It locks the door and the control reads a count down but it doesnt heat up.
Any suggestions.
Thanks

Thanks Check the selector switch and the control per the attached wiring sheet. There are no breakdown diagrams and/or parts list available on line for this model and I'm afraid most of parts for this range are no longer available due to its age. In case if you'll need any part you have to call the APP customer service. They have more availability to look up old models. Gene.

Thanks Gene,
Is there an easy way to get to the DCO? I can see it but I can't seem to get behind it or get it to come out. I can't find the original manual, but then I'm not certain I would find this in it.
Cheers

I'm not sure how to take it apart because I don't have any breakdown diagrams.
Gene.
