After cleaning the touch panel, the start button malfunctions -- it merely advances the minute digits on the COOKTIME display by increments of about 5.

Tried unplugging. Tried scrapping down the board and panel behind and putting it back up. No dice.

Board looks clean, nothing burnt. All other buttons on the panel work.....LED display works fine....set temp, cooktime hh:mm, but Start just won't activate the relay that starts the whole heating cycle.

Do you think the board is at fault or the touch button part?

Any ideas appreciated.
