Model Number: Akp951ix Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
After changing the oven fan element the food was was burned from outside. I then changed the thermostat and still the same problem. I wonder whether I need to calibrate the temperature but I can't figure out how to it. Any suggestions? Thanks

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Please check it. Get yourself an oven thermometer so you know what the actual oven temperature is. If the unit's temperature can be adjusted it is usually a maximum of plus or minus 30 degrees. It should tell you how to do this is the operators manual. If the convection element is the one you replaced then does the unit also overheat when you use just normal bake.
