my oven started having temprature problems first when i start bake and request 400 as soon as i hit start it says the temp inside is aproxx 350 then the oven just warms but never reaches the correct temp even though the display says it did reach 400.
when the door is open the coil on the bottom glows orange so i dont think the coil is bad

can i remove and replace from inside the oven or do I have to pull it out of the cabinet? its a GE jkp19g...

Not sure
On some units the wires are long enough to pull it into the oven and remove it from the harness, worth a try.
Be sure to clip something to the harness so it does not fall back into the oven once the temp sensor is removed.
Also make sure the power is off!!! |
