Model Number: HBN442 Brand: Bosch Age: 1 - 5 years
Would someone please give a specific visual description WITH PART NUMBERS of the HBN442 elements? I have had no experience, so need the full description.
HBN442 1) The round element in the back around the fan (with two electrodes) is called what? WHAT PART NUMBER? What does it do: Convection Bake; Convection Roast; or simple oven? 2) The complex element on the top with (four electrodes shaped like a backward '3') is called what? WHAT PART NUMBER? What does it do: Convection Bake; Convection Roast; or simple oven? Since there is no digram on line, is the diagram for the Bosch HBN642 the same? I much appreciate any help. We don'tlive close to a service area. cas1 Related Models Last edited by cas1 : 04-10-2009 at 09:09 AM. Reason: 2) should say: four electrodes in four loops |

You have duplicated your question in a few threads. It does not make any good for you and for us. It was answered here: BOSCH Convection Oven

Thanks Gene for the good advice. I noticed that the replacement coil is substantially thicker than original. The burned out coil was twisted and burned through.
Turns out there is a gasket between coil mount bracket and back of stove. I had some wood stove door gasket, and used a bit of that. Good Forum. cas1 Last edited by cas1 : 04-23-2009 at 11:46 AM. Reason: forgot something |
