Oven stays on with switch on the off position
Model Number: JBP64BB2WH Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
My oven stays on when the knob is in the off position can't turn it off

Pull out the knob and check if it's broken inside.
If there is nothing wrong with the knob, replace the control board. - The part number for the knob AP3140290 - The part number for the control board AP2624888 - Here are the break down diagrams for the GE range Model JBP64BB2WH Gene.
