Trying to find out if I can purchase a thermocoulple for this oven. The last 4 digits on the tag are gone. The pilot lights and the flame does get bigger when the thermostat is raised, but the main burner fails to turn on.I have looked in a few parts stores, and at a Sears parts deparment. It seems that they don't show a thermocpuple, just the complete gas valve. I have looked closely at the thermocouple,it has a threaded fitting connecting the tube to the gas valve.I undid the fitting,but didnt pull the tube,it seemed stuck. I would purchse the complete valve if needed,but the problem is the missing last digits of the model number on the tag.Would like to know if going by the numbers I have can I get the correct part. You have to replace the whole gas valve. It's almost not possible to find the correct part number without complete model number. Try to post pictures of the gas valve (especially where all numbers are) or remove the part and take it to a local appliance parts store.

Hello Gene, thanks for the answer to my question. I was afraid of that,I am an auto mechanic and know without the VIN number,it is almost impossible to order parts for a vehicle. This is my mothers stove,I may get her to replace the complete stove with a new one,thanks again,Jerry.
