I have a GE propane oven. The pilot light will not light. I put in a new safety valve. When I hold a lighter where the pilot light should be and turn on the oven the pilot light will light for a second and then the oven lights and the pilot light goes out but the oven stays lit. Please help, we have been without a oven for over two weeks and we live in Alaska where we have no repair person and miles from anyone. Thanks, my wife will love whoever can fix this and I'm getting hungry. Thanks Bruce
