My oven works but it does not reach the temperature indicated on the display. I put a thermometer inside and it is out by almost 75 degrees and that is with the calibration set to its highest point.
Is there a way to to determine if it is the controller or the probe?

Please help

I am having the same problem with my 10 year old Kenmore. I replaced the temperature probe and it still has a problem. On preheat the oven says it is up to temperature but it can be up to 50 degrees off. On regular baking I now have to set the tempature on the oven based upon the thermometer I have in the oven.
