The top element in my Kenmore built-in oven went out. The bottom works fine. I notice there is two screws in the back. So do i remove the screws and pull the element out and replace it with the new one or what steps should i take to replace it.

That's about it. After you take the screws out you pull the wires out just a little and unplug them. Be careful not to let them fall through the opening. Might have trouble getting it back out. Plug the new one in and screw it down.
