Model Number: GJC3054 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
All burner knobs have this problem:
A slight downward pressure will make the burner work normally. You can turn the knob to any position (burner works normally) , but you MUST keep the down pressure. I think the wiper, in the control, is not making an electrical contact with the resistive element. But, why would all knobs have the same problem? I have left the breaker off, for at least an hour, to see if the electronics would reset. This DID NOT change anything. Thank you. Ads By Google Related Models |
