I have a Maytag range. When I turn it on to bake, it will only heat up to about 210 degrees, no matter how long I leave it on. I would like to know what part I might need to repair it.

The first thing I would do is check the Bake heating element. You have to remove it and check for continuity. You can find the disassembly instructions in the Service manual (page 25).

- The part number for the Bake element is AP4101290
