Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

The stove burners work. The control panel works and indicates that the oven is running, but the oven and the broiler never heat up. The internal fan never comes on. The igniters do not glow at all. (I removed the bake flame shield to see this igniter).

I tried resetting the breaker, but that made no difference.

Is there anything else that I can try. Because this is a built in unit, I cannot access the back of the unit.

The first thing I would do is remove the control panel and check both bimetal switches (#17 & #20 on the diagram). You can find the complete disassembly instructions in the Service manual.
