Kenmore Range Thermostat Stuck

Model Number: 79071022100 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Kenmore range that is about 10 years old and the thermostat is stuck and will not turn easily. If i replace the thermostat, will that solve my problem? Is this difficult to replace? Can i do it myself or do i need a professional? Any tips? Any help is appreciated!
