I have a Modern Maid model ph0203-UD. Although the igniter glows; there is no gas coming. I don't see any thermocouple.
The broiler is woking fine which makes me think that the knob is ok.
Could it be that the igniter is bad?

Kambiz,

You're on the right track,

It is most likely a weak oven burner igniter,

Part number: 31939701
Part number: 31939701

They can glow "red" but will not produce enough amp draw or voltage to the burner valve to open it and release the gas.

Good Luck,

:) :) :)

Good deal,

I'm sure you'll be fine once you get the igniter replaced.
