I have a GE JGB900WEF1WW range that is having problems reaching and holding proper temperature. If the desired temp is 350, I have to set it to 430 to get it to heat to 350. The digital display will show the temperature that it is set for, but based on a mechanical thermometer and acutal bake times, it is running cold. After reaching the temp, it will not hold it very well and will cool down more than it should before turning back on to reheat. The problems started after running the self cleaning cycle for the first time a few weeks ago---it had not needed to be cleaned before using the automatic cycle.

This may be a separate problem or one that is related. We have also had times that the oven would light and start heating, but shut off before reaching the desired temperature. If we light one of the stove top burners, the oven would light and heat to the desired temperature.

The range was converted to propane when it was originally installed (professionally done). I have the orifices that were replaced when this was done.

With the last bit of info provided, I would have to say you need to replace the bake ignitor. Part # WB13K21. Tom ********************************************
