My mother has a Kenmore range with glass cook top,not sure of the model at this time.The door won't close tightly and she holds it closed with duct tape.Can anyone help and tell me how to adjust so the door will close properly?......Dave

Each hinge at the bottom has a spring to hold it shut. Slide the oven out about a foot and you can see the springs. May have come loose or broken or the hinge itself could be worn.
