I just receive Amana replacement part #77001257. This switch is generally similar to the OEM switch. The OEM switch has 7 terminals with 7 wires attached to 6 of them. The replacement switch has 9 terminals. It looks just like the part as pictured on any number of replacement parts web-sites. Six silver terminals and 3 copper terminals. I need to know where the OEM wires are to fit on the replacement switch.

Am I to assume that I would just use a Dremmel tool to cut the replacement switch knob post to the correct length?
