The baking element gets warm but does not glow or heat up fully. Just started this past weekend, although we have noticed that it takes longer to heat up than it used to. Everything else in the stove works fine.

The bake and broil elements share the thermostat so if the broil element still functions, that leaves the selector switch and element itself as possible problems. If you have a multimeter, the best thing to do is verify you have 240vac going to the element. This can be checked by removing the rear panel and measuring between the to element connections in the back. If you do have voltage, then the element is bad. If you don't, then I would suspect the selector switch.
