Default Control Panel Replacement
Model Number: P1130766NSS   Brand: Amana   Age: 5 - 10 years

The increase/decrease temperature up/don arrows on the control panel: Part Number: AP172951 made by MAYTAG
are not functioning properly. I would like to access the control panel to see if it need replacing, but don't know how to access it properly. I found the break out parts diagrams, so know how the parts fit together. What I don't know from looking at the parts diagrams is (1) do I need to remove the main top in order to access the control panel, and (2) do I need to turn off the gas supply?

Thanks for you help.

Hi,

That does not seem to be the correct model number. Please take another look at the model number.
