Default Half a burner not working
Model Number: PGLEF385EC1   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 1 - 5 years

I have a Galery Seris ceramic top stove and the small inside burner of the right hand burner pair is not working. When I select the large burner, only the outer ring heats up, when I select the small option, nothing happens. How do I fix this?

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.

You will have to open it up and inspect the element. Often you can see where it has burned out.
If it looks OK you will have to measure it with a meter to check if the heating coils are OK.
If OK then odds are that the control needs replacing.
