I cracked the cooktop and a piece broke off the corner. I have pulled the entire unit out about 6" from the wall and was able to remove the control panel in an attempt to see how the top is held on and to see if this is a job I want to tackle.

I am ready to do this myself if I can get some fairly detailed instructions on removing the cooktop and ordering a replacement (plus any other parts like clips or gaskets needed).

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave
