Model Number: GCT 36 4G Brand: Thermador Age: More than 10 years
I replaced the ignitor for the center grill area about 15 months ago, but the element has again stopped
igniting. Since the original part lasted 15 years, and the Robertshaw 41-205 Model 501A replacement seemingly only about one; would you know if there are other parts in the circuit that could defeat ignition? The brief print in the back of the install booklet, and behind the front panel, seems to show a thermostat and a thermal valve, although I don't know where they are located physically, or if they would prevent initial ignition.
