I shattered the outer glass on the door of my Frigidaire oven. I have purchased the new glass. I noticed when cleaning the old glass peices from the door that it seamed to be held up with some type of double stick tape? None came with the new glass. Any idea's? Also I don't have a clue where this foil is to be placed. I've found video's on how to replace the inner glass but nothing on the outer peice. Thanks

Thanks W, The foil tape, will be installed across the top of the door glass, on the inside surface. Here are some basic/general instructions for replacing the outer oven door glass for your range. Oven Door Disassembly Removing the upper door trim:
1. Remove the oven door and lay it on a flat surface. 2. Remove the two screws holding the trim to the inner liner. 3. Slide the trim off the top of the door.
Door handle:
1. Remove upper door trim. 2. Remove the two screws holding the door handle to the upper door trim.
Outer door glass and trim:
1. Remove upper door trim. 2. Remove the four screws at the bottom holding trim to the inner door liner, and lift the glass and trim off.
The 2 sided tape was more for possible rattles and shifting panels than anything else. You can install your own, if you wish.
Good Luck,
:) :) :)
