My Thermador was struck by lightning and I have had 12 visits from technicians out with no help. They have changed the computer board and ignitors but still no oven. If I turn to broil it works and both broil ignitors fire. If I switch the broil ignitor wire to bake ignitor and turn on broil it works. I think it may be the thermostat on the front oven knob not reading correctly to a sensor. Does anyone know if this may be the problem. When I turn bake on I get a blue light and fan but no ignition and no gas. Thanks for your time if you reply.

Which part did you call "igniter"? Can you refer to the diagrams?

Gene,
Thanks for responding. The diagram is not the same I have a pgr36lp but the ignitor I am referring to is called a Gasliter on the part itself. it is made by channelproducts and their part number is 2003-68. I think the part I need is the resistor on the oven temp control knob. I say this because if I take the broiler ignitor wire and move it to the bake ignitor turn the knob to broil my ingitor will fire. But with no combinatin can I get the bake to release lp gas. It seems like the resistor is not sending a signal to tell the gas valve to turn on. Any thoughts?

I'm afraid I did not get it clear. Which part did you call "igniter" in this sentence? The igniter at the burner or the lighter board? Which wire did you move?

Gene.
