Hello, my oven light remains on evan with the door closed. The oven works fine otherwise, but I think it may be an issue with the door because when I try to do a self clean, it's not picking up that the door is locked and will not start. Please help, I do not need an extra night light coming from the kitchen oven.

Usually the range has a switch on the control panel to turn the light off and on. If the light comes on automatically when you open the oven door,
then yes it is a door switch. Possibly the switch is damaged, (fallen away from the door, or the detent button is broken off, and the switch never comes in contact with the door. Or just remove the light bulb
