We broke the ceramic stovetop and are wondering how difficult it would be to replace it. I know the cost would be between $200-$300 to purchase it, but I'm not sure about the work involved and whether or not we'd be better off purchasing a new stove. Thanks!

This is not that hard of a job, I have done a number of them with no problems, It REALLY helps to have an extra hand around, Also, You NEED to know!!!!!! These tops DON'T ship very well!!! I have gotten as many as 3 broken or chipped ones before getting one that I could use. If you do order 1 thru the internet, OPEN AND INSPECT IT WHEN DELIVERED!!!! If its damaged, SEND IT BACK WITH THE DRIVER THAT DELIVERED IT!!! (this way, YOU don't have to pay the freight):)
