Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

I have a Frigidare gas oven. It seems intermittently the lower burner bake or broil Ignites and starts the burner. Would it seem more likely the thermostat to induce this action or the igniter. I have no schematic to troubleshoot.
I have alreadt pulled the thermostat/control. Is there something i can verify on it? Thanks

The thermostat (AP4358457) is what cycles the voltage to the igniter and gas valve so it would be the likely cause. Does it just turn on by itself when no one is around?

Yes, it seems to turn on by itself -it might be that it never really turns off when I shut the thermostat off?

That sounds about right. I would replace the thermostat because it sounds like off doesn't always mean off.
