Whizzkid, First, unplug the power cord or turn off power to the range, don't want to get you hurt with the high voltage to the igniter. Remove the burner grate and burner cap. Remove the 2 phillips head screws in the burner base, carefully. (don't loose the screws, you'll need them in a minute) Lift the burner base straight up until you clear the orifice holder and igniter, under the top, and don't damage the white porcelain igniter assembly. Reverse the procedure to install the new burner base. Good Luck, :) :) :)
