36", five burner smooth/glass cooktop. one switch post (plastic) broke off and the burner would not turn off, stayed on high. turned off breaker and removed post along with switch. taped wires so they would not contact, then re-connected power (after ordering $90 replacement post which is connected to switch and circuit board). while waiting for new switch and after re-connecting power, now have only a little heat and burners will not get real hot....i think it is operating at 110 voltage instead of 220. i'm open to any ideas (have not checked with meter but new house and fairly sure the wall outlet is giving me 220) any fuses in this beast? So, i put the old post/switch back in (since I got it to off position) and still have only 110 or half the heat. please help me...feeling like i screwed something up in this pos:confused:

Here is your wiring diagram
ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/Pr...assomption/318046814.pdf

Do not see any fuses which would take out half the line.

I would check the incoming power first as that is the easiest

I do not know exactly how the individual control boards work and cannot find info on them.
Could it be that only half the element is heating?
Could be a problem with the board power supply. I think they show it as a transformator on the wiring diagram.

Sorry I could not be more helpful but hopefully the above will be of some use

thanks Denman...not just half the burner, but the whole burner is on half hear (on high you can hold your hand over it and they never glow, even with a pot on the surface). ....i'll wait and install the new board and see what happens but thanks for the wiring diagram, the one I found online i could not even read.
