We received an error message F2, and the broiler stayed on, so we turned off the breaker to the oven. This happened once or twice in the past, and after letting the oven cool off, we could turn it back on and it would work normally again. This time, it didn't "reset" and any time we turned the circuit breaker back on the broiler would instantly start to heat up fast. So yesterday I ordered a new control panel (I am familiar with changing this, since our clock went out on this oven a couple of years ago). I changed it (it arrived today--thanks!) and all looked great, but then I realized it was heating up again without me even touching the dials. Obviously, the control panel wasn't the problem ($185 later). Do you have any other idea what might be going on, and is this something we can fix without calling in a repairman or replacing the whole double oven? Thank you.
