Default Bottem element replacement
Model Number: unknown   Brand: Maytag   Age: 1 - 5 years

Help! I'm trying to figure out how to replace the bottom element on my range that is barely 2 years old. I removed the bottom interior panel to expose the element and I can see where it is burned out but when I unscrew the element from the rear of the oven and try to un plug it, it just keeps coming like it is going up the back of the range!! I've never seen one like this. How am I supposed to get it out? Help!
