beeping oven
Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
A friend is remodeling and gave me his Kenmore double oven, model
# 911.48485992, SN OV6 45840Q. I installed it yesterday, and at first, everything worked fine, but after 5 or 10 minutes, it started beeping, and some of the functions on the lower oven quit working. It beeped randomly all night, but there are no error codes, and the upper oven still works. I have cut the power to the control module several times, and it will reset and work again each time, until after 5 minutes it starts beeping again, with the top oven working and the lower not working. The control module is a GE WB27T10282. I would like to know if replacing it will most likely solve this problem. The part is over $200, and I don't think it is returnable. Ads By Google
